Keia Sanderson, MD MSCR
Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics
Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology
My research is focused on both investigating long term renal outcomes in children born prematurely as well as understanding the risks of mortality in neonates receiving dialysis. My current research efforts are supported by the UNC KL2 Award.
Beyond my research and clinical work, I serve as the director of the pediatric dialysis program at UNC and I also enjoy supporting underrepresented minority and female students interested in clinical research and medicine.
